“Within three weeks of planting the Amaranthus seeds, we had a good harvest. This is now supplementing our food and reducing hunger,”
“Vegetables have given us quick income. We harvest every few weeks and now earn up to UGX 200,000 monthly. Compared to tea, this is faster and more rewarding,” added Joyce Katushabe, a women’s group leader in Buhoma.
